High profile South African financial planner Justin Hooper has joined Ipac as man-ager of financial planning advisers.
High profile South African financial planner Justin Hooper has joined Ipac as man-ager of financial planning advisers.
In 1982, Hooper started, and became managing director of, Fincorp, the first fee only financial planning practice in South Africa which has about $400 million under ad-vice.
He has had a long association with Ipac which has looked after Fincorp’s clients off-shore investments.
Hooper, who completed his DFP long distance from South Africa, was also a fort-nightly columnist for South Africa’s largest business publication, the Sunday Times’ Business Times.
He says his major interests in financial planning are “the big picture stuff”, including behavioural finance and philosophical issues.
