Iress updates Xplan platform
Iress will release the first of several planned updates to thousands of users from Friday August 2, to make Xplan simpler to use.
Users would be able organise menus and screens to help better find what they need more quickly, as well as getting an improved search function.
It would also have enhanced help and assistance through a direct connection with the new Iress community, which included Xplan documentation and resources, training videos, real-time updates, and access to support from product experts.
Other improvements were in the works, including the introduction of a ‘client snapshot’, which would display all client information in one place.
Emily Chen, Iress product executive, said users understood the platform had deep functionality but felt it could be simpler and easier to use.
“The feedback we’ve received from those testing the new Xplan navigation has been extremely positive, particularly around the overall user experience and search capability,” Chen said.
“In fact, of those users already offered the choice between the previous and new navigation, 90 per cent have chosen the new experience and continued to use this.”
