IRESS appoints UK MD
IRESS has announced the appointment of Australian financial services veteran, Phil Quin-Conroy, as its new managing director of the United Kingdom business, effective 17 June this year.
Quin-Conroy was head of business consulting for MLC in the UK and head of insurance and licensee services for National Australia Bank (NAB). He as also chief executive officer of PLAN Australia and head of broker services for NAB’s Advantedge, where he was responsible for the operations of the mortgage aggregation businesses.
IRESS CEO, Andrew Walsh, said Quin-Conroy had successfully established and led the expansion of the fintech’s lending business in Australia since joining two years ago.
“In the past two years I have been impressed by Phil, how he forms and builds teams and his focus on clients and business growth,” Walsh said.
The new MD noted IRESS’ stronghold in the UK, and said he looked forward to working with the team to build on the company’s achievements.
