Iress appoints chief product officer
Financial services technology provider Iress has appointed Joydip Das as chief product officer (CPO), commencing from September 14, 2020 in Melbourne.
Das would be a member of the product leadership team, reporting to chief executive Andrew Walsh.
Prior to Iress, Das was head of product at US start-up Socrates AI and before that he was vice president of product at marketing data management platform Krux Digital, which was acquired by Salesforce in 2016.
He had also held senior product leadership roles at Ariba, SAP and Daintree Networks.
Walsh said Das brought over 20 years’ experience in software product leadership roles.
“He led the creation of SAP’s first SaaS [service as a software] applications and cloud business unit, Ariba’s global sourcing platform and Salesforce’s next-generation marketing data and customer engagement platform,” Walsh said.
“I have been impressed with Joydip’s broad experience and focus on building strong, innovative product teams, with a clear focus on scale and results.”
