Investment Trends awards Milliman and Advice Intelligence
Retirement specialist Milliman and platform provider Advice Intelligence have been recognised by research firm Investment Trends with its Planning Software Innovation Award.
The award was presented as part of Investment Trend’s 2018 Planning Software Benchmarking report.
The report found an industry wide shift from modular advice to solutions that encompassed goals-based advice, better business management and improved usability.
Milliman’s enterprise-grade algorithms power Advice Intelligence’s software platform which provided advisers with insights into their clients’ future financial position.
Craig McCulloch, Milliman Principal, said yesterday’s technology and a heavy compliance burden had made true goals-based advice difficult to implement at scale.
"The findings of the Royal Commission into Financial Services has underlined the need for change and Milliman is pleased to partner with forward-thinking organisations such as Advice Intelligence that are leading the way," McCulloch said.
