HLB Association appoints financial reporting director
The HLB Mann Judd Association has appointed Michelle Warren to the newly created Melbourne-based role of director of financial reporting.
Warren has over 11 years’ experience in audit, with roles at Grant Thornton, South Africa and Century Plaza Group, Melbourne.
In her new role, Warren would oversee all financial reporting matters within the network, including implementing a national technical consultation process, quality monitoring, training and providing technical accounting advice.
Chair of the HLB Australasian Association, Tony Fittler, said the role was created in response to continuing changes to the legislative and regulatory environment, and Warren’s focus on financial reporting would help support clients manage challenges.
“Following the recent growth of the HLB Mann Judd network, including expansion into Fiji and Newcastle earlier this year, it is also important for the Association to be able to offer an additional level of support for member firms,” Fittler said.
