Halmarick gets CBA role

Leading business economist, Stephen Halmarick has taken up a new role with the Commonwealth Bank.

Halmarick who was previously Head of Economic and Market Research at Colonial First State Global Asset Management finished that role last year and has now moved within the Commonwealth Bank to a newly-created role as Head of Global Markets Research.

The new role will see Halmarick managing the combined Economics, Rates, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Credit and Commodities research for the bank.
