FIIG Securities has expanded its institutional fixed income team with four new senior appointments in response to demands for investments in that space.

Michael Clout, Chris Williams and Emily Boden have joined the team as directors, and Zhongni Filipovic joined as an associate director.

Clout has over 25 years’ experience in financial markets, joining the firm from Laminar Capital where he was head of business development. Prior to this, Clout spent five years at Ord Minnett and other global investment and domestic banks, including NAB.

Williams joined the team from The Australian Bond Exchange, where he expanded its institutional sales business, and spent 10 years as a credit trader at NAB prior to that.

Boden was most recently in ANZ’s middle market fixed interest and wealth sales team, and has also worked at NAB, Commonwealth Bank and Yieldbroker.

Filipovic spent the last two years at ICE Data and has also worked at NAB and BNP Paribas Investment Partners.

Head of institutional fixed income at the firm, Mark Bayley, said the new hires would enhance the breadth and depth of FIIG’s institutional fixed income offering, and would drive opportunities for clients and support strategic growth plans in the institutional sector.
