Ex-Hyperion manager joins Elston
Elston Asset management has announced the appointment of Justin Woerner as its new portfolio manager.
He had over 20 years of experience gained at both domestic and international financial markets in developing long-term strategies.
“Justin is highly respected in our industry. He was at Hyperion when it grew from a boutique firm to a A$6.5bn business,” Elston Group’s chief executive, Andrew McKie said.
“Now he’s bringing his investment experience to Elston Group and joining a team that is building an enviable reputation for delivering positive outcomes and exception service.”
Elston, which was a privately-owned wealth and asset management firm, currently manages approximately $2 billion in assets under management and advice.
It was established in 2011 as a specialist fund manager with a focus on Australian large companies and multi-asset separately managed accounts (SMA) portfolios.
