Evans joins PIS
Tower Australia Investments chief executive Grahame Evans is leaving the company to join Professional Investment Services (PIS) in a senior role.
Media reports claim Evans’ 13-month stint at Tower ended after the PIS board offered him the position, and was not due to disagreements with other executives over strategy.
The announcement came just two days after Tower appointed Russell Investment Group to manage its $2.6 billion funds business.
According to a Tower spokesperson, a replacement for Evans will involve an internal and external search.
