EQT MD, Robin Burns, retires

Equity Trustees managing director, Robin Burns, has announced he is retiring from the company.

Burns, who is currently on sick leave, will be retiring effective from 1 July, after six years in his role.

The company announced to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) today that Michael J. O'Brien has been appointed Executive Director responsible for the management of the company, effectively immediately.

O'Brien has been a non-executive director of the company since July, 2014 and is a former chief executive of Invesco Australia and Chief Investment Officer of AXA Australia and New Zealand.
