Boutique fund manager, Copia Investment Partners, has appointed Matt Roberts as its new distribution manager, joining the firm’s Sydney office.

Roberts has more than 10 years of experience in the wealth management industry with roles spanning distribution and financial advice.

Prior to that, Roberts worked at IOOF as a senior business development manager servicing the retail advice market. He also worked at Tynan Mackenzie and BT Financial Group as a business development manager, platforms.

“With our suite of investment partners represented on most major platforms, it is important we have an experienced team to drive distribution through these channels and continue to expand our network,” said Copia’s general manager distribution, John Clothier.

“Matt brings to our team valuable experience gained in fund distribution, platform and financial advice-based roles.”

Copia has four partner fund managers in its stable which includes: OC (Australian Small Caps), Ralton (separately managed accounts), Veritum (equity income) and Chester (high conviction Australian equities).
