Columbia Threadneedle appoints head of Asia Pacific
Columbia Threadneedle Investments has promoted head of distribution, Asia Pacific, Jon Allen, to regional head of the Asia Pacific, where he would oversee the firm’s regional presence and teams.
Allen has over 20 years’ experience in Asian asset management, and prior to joining the firm, he held senior roles at Prudential Asset Management and Royal & Sun Alliance Investments.
In his new role, Allen would work with chairman, Raymundo Yu, to focus on key client and regulatory relationships in the region.
Global chief executive officer, Ted Truscott, said under Yu’s leadership the firm was able to expand its capabilities and footprint in Asia, and he looked forward to Allen’s contributions.
