CFS appoints Brian Bissaker as CEO

Brian Bissaker has been appointed chief executive of ColonialFirstState, replacing John Pearce, who resigned earlier this month to take up a position in Hong Kong.

Currently general manager, product and investment services, at CFS, Bissaker will take up his new role on December 4.

Before joining CFS in 2002, he held senior roles in funds management product and technical roles, including at BT Funds Management and KPMG.

He is a director of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia and sits on the Investment and Financial Services Association Economics, Tax and Savings Board Committee.
