CFA Societies appoints national CEO
CFA Societies Australia has announced former chief operating officer of Good Shepherd Microfinance, Lisa Carroll, will become its first national chief executive officer.
Ganesh Suntharam, president of CFA Society Sydney, said the appointment marked an important step in the evolution of their local societies and would allow CFA charterholders across Sydney, Melbourne and Perth to expand their engagement with members and the industry broadly.
Carroll has previous experience in management across various departments within her organisation and gained extensive experience delivering core services for both not-for-profit and member-based organisations.
Carroll would step into her role on 24 September this year and would focus on delivering greater member value and supporting the ongoing growth and recognition of the CFA designation across Australia.
