Centuria appoints new fund manager
Centuria has announced the appointment of Grant Nichols as fund manager of its Centuria Metropolitan REIT (CMA) fund.
Nichols would bring over 16 years’ experience across real estate and funds management, with a primary focus on commercial real estate.
Prior to joining the firm, Nichols held roles across property management at AMP Capital Investors and asset management at Investa Property Group, before holding senior roles as fund manager of Investa Diversified Office Fund and Investa Second Industrial Trust.
Nichols was most recently a fund manager of the ASX listed Australian Unity Office Fund, which would now be managed by Mark Lumby.
In an announcement to the ASX, Jason Huljich, head of real estate and funds management, thanked former acting fund manager of the fund, Doug Hoskins, for his contribution during the transition.
“Doug will resume a fulltime focus as Fund Manager in our unlisted real estate division following Grant’s commencement with CMA,” he said.
