Centrepoint adds interim CFO
Publicly-listed financial services group, Centrepoint Alliance has announced key executive appointments which it says reflect its focus on a “strategic refresh”.
The company announced to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) today that it had appointed former Westpac executive, Peter Loosmore as its interim Chief Financial Officer effective from today, completing a series of new appointments which had included Natalie Ellisdon into the newly-created role of Chief Technology and Marketing Officer and Anthony Collins as Group Executive of People and Transformation.
It said Loosmore was joining the firm with over 30 years’ experience in leading Australian financial services organisations as Chief Financial Officer and in senior finance executive roles.
Commenting on the appointment, Centrepoint Alliance chief executive, Angus Benbow noted that Ellisdon has previously been a senior executive at Australian Unity while Collins had been worked at Macquarie, Perpetual and BT Financial Group.
“These appointments reflect the momentum we are building as we focus on delivering our strategic refresh and Centrepoint’s ability to attract industry recognised leaders,” he said.
