AMP makes two wealth solutions appointments
AMP has appointed head of platform products John Keating to the role of head of wealth distribution, southern region, while Shaune Egan has been named head of platform development, joining from MLC.
Keating will report to Nicole Mahan, AMP’s director of wealth distribution, with a focus on AMP-aligned and non-aligned advisers across Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia.
“In leading AMP’s platform business and driving the considerable growth of AMP’s North platform in recent years, John understands what advisers’ value and require to support their customers in achieving their financial goals,” Mahan said.
Egan will commence at AMP on 19 November 2018, reporting to Rod Finch, AMP’s director, superannuation, retirement and investments.
“Shaune will continue to strengthen the capabilities of our award-winning North platform, working closely with advisers and customers to ensure it provides access to high-quality investment products and efficient administrative functionality,” Finch said.
AMP said its North platform has grown from A$16 billion in assets under management at 31 December 2014 to more than A$39 billion at 30 September 2018.
