Alphinity hires new manager

Global equities boutique fund manager, Alphinity Investment Management, has announced that Nikki Thomas has joined the team as a global portfolio manager.
Thomas has 11 years of experience and joined from Magellan Financial Group where she served as head of research and portfolio manager.
She would work alongside Jonas Palmqvist, Lachlan MacGregor and Jeff Thomson.
“Ms Thomas, with her deep experience, analytical skills and sharp decision-making ability is a terrific addition to our team and will help ensure we continue to build momentum after a strong year,” Palmqvist said.
According to FE Analytics, the Alphinity Global Equity Fund delivered annualised performance of 11.30 per cent from December, 2015 to 31 May, 2018.
Alphinity is partly owned by Fidante Partners, the boutique funds management business of Challenger Limited.
