Allianz Retire plus adds two BDMs
Allianz Retire plus has made two new appointments to its distribution team in Fabian Cockle and Joanna Orrell.
Cockle would join as senior business development manager for Victoria and Western Australia, based in Melbourne.
He would report to Caitriona Wortley, head of distribution, and would work closely with dealer groups and financial advisers to promote Allianz Retire plus solutions.
Cockle had 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and was most recently in distribution roles with Colonial First State and Australian Unity.
Orrell had been appointed senior business development manager for Queensland, based in Brisbane, and also reporting to Wortley.
She previously worked for Equity Trustees, responsible for distributing estate planning and trustee services to licensees and financial advisers across NSW/ACT, and before that she had worked for Zurich Investments and BT Financial Group.
