Acadian appoints head of Asia and Pacific
Acadian Asset Management has appointed Andrew Hair to the newly-created role of head of Asia Pacific to drive their next phase of regional growth.
Hair would also continue his role as chief executive of Acadian Asset Management (Australia), which he had held since 2012.
He would be responsible for Acadian’s business in Australia and New Zealand, as well as affiliated officers in Tokyo and Singapore.
Hair had more than 20 years’ experience in financial markets, where the last 12 of those had been with Acadian Australia.
Kelly Young, chief marketing officer (CMO) of Acadian Asset Management, said the role underpinned Acadian’s dedication to global expansion.
“We believe that through this strategic regional approach, we can increase the coordination between offices to continue delivering innovative client solutions, and Andrew’s role will be crucial as part of this overall effort,” Young said.
