Generation Next hits Adelaide
William Buck is using Adelaide’s compact networking environment to cultivate upcoming business people with its Generation Next series of events.
The series follows on from the Emerging Leaders events, which ran for two years from 2007 and targeted a generation Y audience.
David Martland, chair of the Generation Next committee and business advisory manager at William Buck, said this time around the events were targeting 25 to 40 year olds.
“We feel it’s beneficial to target a slightly older age group who are young and ambitious, but experienced enough to have valuable business ideas and the ability to make more powerful connections than graduates and those in the first few years of their career,” he said.
“This group of people are at an age where they can really start to help each other and form a business community that they can draw on throughout their careers.”
The events are free of charge and will be held every quarter at William Buck’s premises in Victoria Square.
