Futuro Financial announces expansion

Futuro Financial Services has announced the appointment of nine additional planners, a further sign of its steadily growing network around the country.

Futuro managing director Dennis Bashford said planners were attracted to Futuro for a number of reasons, and added that practices would only be appointed if there was strong evidence the relationship would be of significant benefit to both parties.

“The latest round of appointments is consistent with the company’s plan to strategically expand its national profile and simultaneously offer a wider range of services under the Futuro umbrella at individual state level,” Bashford said.

Bashford said several Western Australian planners are now under the Futuro group, including compliance specialist Shaun Mulquiney.

From Perth, accounting firm Cornerstone partners Glen Gurney and Joe Peszka have joined the group. Graham Anderson and Lydia Kiten from chartered accountancy firm GDA Corporate have also come aboard.

In New South Wales, the following additions have been made: Mark Keith, Bill Ashford and Michael Dare.

Futuro’s Queensland operation has added Mark Basili and his financial planning practice, while Robert Lasky-Davidson has joined in Victoria.
