BT launches online adviser learning channel

BT Group Licensees (BTGL), which includes Securitor, BT Select and Licensee Select, has launched a digital learning channel with education programs for financial advisers.
The BTGL Learning Channel will digitise professional development days, and customise education programs to suit experience levels while managing costs.
The framework includes practice management, compliance, technical, insurance, and investments. It currently has 10 learning topics and over 35 educational and leadership videos on the site.
BT Group Licensee's head of licensee development and the main creator of the channel, Annick Donat said the channel enables advisers to meet and keep up their educational standards.
"This new learning framework enables our advisers and broader support teams to access this tool in their own time versus the advice industry dictating a time," she said.
The learning channel came in a bid to "drive a culture and community of learning", BT said.
