CFA Societies make key appointments
Director of building industry superannuation fund, Cbus, Stephen Dunne, has been appointed as chair of the CFA Societies Australia Advocacy Council effective from this month.
CFA Societies Australia announced the appointment this week, alongside that of former Franklin Templeton Investments managing director, Maria Wilton as chair of its National Diversity Committee.
The CFA Societies announcement said the aim of the Advocacy Council was to advocate for highest standards of professionalism, comprising compliance, competency and ethics across the Australian financial service industry.
It said the objective of the National Diversity Committee was to raise awareness around the chronic issue of gender diversity disparity and to effect positive change and achieve outcomes that lead to industry and community transformation around this issue.
