Zenith recommends Insight Investment fund
Insight Investments’ London-quartered $169.5 million multi-asset Insight Diversified Inflation Plus Fund has received a ‘recommended’ rating from Zenith Investment Partners.
The fund currently managed $28.2 billion within Australia, and aimed to deliver long-term returns at least five per cent in excess of the Australian inflation rate over a rolling five-year period.
Insight Investment director of Australia and New Zealand, Bruce Murphy said the makeup of the fund made it of interest to self-managed super funds (SMSFs), and adviser groups.
“The Insight Diversified Inflation Plus Fund presents a very attractive option for individual Australian investors with a medium to long-term investment horizons,” he said.
On providing Insight Investment with the ‘recommended’ rating, Zenith noted the research-intensive approach to fund strategy and positive track record in strategy management.
On the performance front, FE Analytics showed the Insight Diversified Inflation Plus Fund had first quartile-ranked annualised one year returns of 11.38 per cent, ahead of the 8.92 per cent returned by the benchmark.
The annualised three year returns for the fund were 4.30 per cent and in the fourth quartile behind the 6.63 per cent averaged benchmark.
