Amundi’s Sofian to head Fullerton
Asian and emerging market specialist, Fullerton Fund Management has appointed a new chief executive.
The company announced it had appointed former Amundi Singapore chief executive and head of South Asia, Jenny Sofian as the firm’s CEO effective 1 November 2017.
It said that as CEO, Sofian would lead the development and implementation of Fullerton’s overall business strategy focusing on expanding the firm’s third-party business, to ensure the delivery of distinctive investment solutions and superior service quality to clients.
The announcement described Sofian as an accomplished executive, with over two decades of deep and extensive experience across Asia.
Commenting on the appointment, Fullerton chairman and interim CEO, Ho Tian Yee said he would work closely with Sofian to ensure a seamless transition of responsibilities.
“Jenny's appointment is the culmination of our search for someone who can lead Fullerton's growth ambitions and fulfil our long-term plans,” he said.
