Former BTFG staffer moves to Fortnum
Former BT Financial Group national manager, practice advice, Kerry Thomas, has joined Fortnum Private Wealth to the newly created position of head of advice.
Fortnum Financial Group’s chief executive and managing director, Neil Younger said the appointment of Thomas, along with another appointment, was part of a restructure aimed at strengthening the licensee’s proposition to advisers.
“Our focus continues to be on delivering relevant advice solutions that drive practice efficiency, productivity and profitability,” Younger said.
“Kerry is an experienced professional who has a genuine rapport with advisers and she is a great addition to the team.”
Thomas has over 15 years of experience in financial services, including roles as advice implementation manager and policy and process manager at BT Financial Group, and senior financial planner, corporate and business bank at St George Bank.
She would report to managing director of Fortnum Private Wealth, Joel Taylor.
