New CFO for Charter Hall
Publicly-listed property investment group, Charter Hall has appointed a new chief financial officer.
The company announced this week it had appointed Russell Proutt to the role following a formal recruitment process which had begun late last year.
It said Proutt who has been chief financial officer at Brookfield Australia Pty Ltd, would join Charter Hall in August.
Commenting on the appointment, Charter Hall chief executive and managing director, David Harrison said Proutt would be a valuable addition to the firm’s executive team.
“Russell is a results oriented finance executive who has accumulated extensive global property, infrastructure and private equity experience. His considerable leadership experience in financial management, transactions and equity markets will be a great benefit to the group,” Harrison said.
