Henderson hires new emerging market head
Henderson Global Investors has hired Ian Tabberer as a new investment director who will run its emerging market equities team.
Tabberer, who would be based in Edinburgh, would be responsible for interacting with clients, advisers and internal teams on all aspects of the portfolio. He would report directly to Henderson’s head of emerging market equities, Glen Finegan.
Tabberer joined the team from the Henderson global equities team after the firm restructured in December 2016. Prior to this, he served as an investment manager at Baillie Gifford.
“The expansion of the Edinburgh based emerging market equities team marks a milestone in the development of this franchise and reflects our continued commitment to the asset class,” Finegan said.
“Ian’s previous investment experience and time at Henderson will be invaluable as we continue to deliver performance and service for our clients.”
