Capstone FP not associated with Capstone Capital
Capstone Financial Planning has sought to clarify that it is not affiliated with Capstone Capital following the cancellation of Capstone Capital’s Australian financial services licence (AFSL).
In an announcement, Capstone Financial Planning said: “We wish to advice that Capstone Financial Planning Pty Ltd is in no way affiliated with Capstone Capital Pty Ltd and is a completely separate and unrelated company”.
Last week, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) moved against Capstone Capital after it failed to lodge annual financial statements and auditor’s reports, and failed to maintain membership with an external dispute resolution scheme approved by ASIC.
