Crescent Wealth appoints consulting CIO
Islamic superannuation fund, Crescent Wealth has appointed former REST general manager of Investments, Ronan Walsh as its new consulting chief investment officer (CIO).
Crescent confirmed the appointment this week, noting that it was a part of the fund’s strategy to refine its investment policies, strategies and governance.
Commenting on the appointment, Crescent Wealth managing director, Talal Yeassine said he believed Walsh would bring a wealth of investment knowledge and expertise to the group.
Discussing his new role, Walsh said Crescent Wealth was committed to enhancing the long-term outcome of its members and investors by investing in an ethical and sustainable manner.
“Talal and his leadership team have created an inclusive and ethical culture in this firm, unique in my experience in the financial services sector,” he said.
