Google executive joins Centuria board
Google head of sales, Susuan Wheeldon-Steele, has been appointed to the board of Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) company, Centuria Capital.
Wheeldon-Steele, who was also a Woman on Boards member, was the first woman to be appointed to the board, and would join six male non-executive directors of the specialist investment management firm.
Executive chair of Women on Boards, Ruth Medd, helped Centuria select Wheeldon-Steele, as non-executive director, saying Wheeldon-Steele's diverse skills would bring new expertise to the board.
Wheeldon-Steele has also hold senior roles in Australia and the UK across various industries including global law firms, DLA Piper, and King and Wood Mallesons, Virgin Australia and Virgin Atlantic, AMP Capital, and Groupon.
