ClearView boosts team with newly created positions
Three new business development managers (BDMs) have been appointed around Australia at ClearView Wealth to continue the profitable growth of its insurance, investment and superannuation sectors.
Former MLC consultant, James Blanton, has been appointed as the NSW/ACT BDM with a specialisation in insurance. With over 15 years' experience in the industry, Blanton also brings skills in practice development and sales to the position.
Nick Dowling, a former BDM at Macquarie Group, will take over ClearView's BDM role in Victoria and Tasmania and has also worked in the finance industry for over 15 years.
The final appointment was Richard Monroe as the BDM for Queensland. Monroe previously worked across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane with both Westpac and BT Wealth Management. Monroe also established his own risk advice business four years ago.
ClearView managing director, Simon Swanson, said that the three appointments would ensure continued profitability in management, as well as building relationships within the wider industry.
"These newly created positions reflect the continued growth and strong performance across our business," he said.
"James, Nick and Richard will have the responsibility of working closely with advisers to strengthen existing relationships within the adviser community."
