Milliman recruits industry funds executive
Former Telstra Super executive, Kevin Moloney, has been appointed as head of consulting services with global actuarial consulting firm, Milliman.
Moloney's appointment was confirmed by Milliman's practice leader, Wade Matterson, who said it represented a response to increased demand for member-focused solutions from industry superannuation funds.
"The experience Kevin brings to our business will support us through a period of growth. His broad industry experience across retirement products, marketing, and distribution strategy will serve us well as we continue to expand the depth of our relationships with Australian clients," Matterson said.
He said he believed Moloney's experience in the industry fund sector represented a powerful addition to the Milliman team.
"We are seeing an increasing desire from our industry fund partners to assist as they deal with a rapidly changing environment. Funds are dealing with simultaneous challenges across financial advice, engagement and retirement solutions, and consulting organisations are increasingly required to offer an integrated range of services," Matterson said.
