Financial services group, Spring FG has pointed to a timetable for the roll-out of what it describing as franchised wealth management branches this year.

At the same time as announcing the appointment of a new head of marketing and communications, Spring FG said it intended to roll out the franchised branches from the middle of this year, with the goal of establishing 10 branches in place by the end of next financial year.

It said the overall goal of the strategy was to have between 80 and 100 branches across Australia within a five to eight year time-frame.

The company announced that it had appointed Samantha Clark to the newly-created role of head of marketing and communications with responsibility for client recruitment and experience.

It said Clark would also oversee the launch of the company's fintech services including its direct-to-consumer SMSF establishment, administration and investing service, mysuper247.com and a direct to consumer tax service mytax247.com.
