REI Super starts video chatting
Time sensitive and geographically dispersed property super fund members are now able to video chat with financial advisers, REI Super announced today.
The industry super for the property and real estate industry now offers face-to-face, phone, and video chat to advise its 31,000 members.
"We're a small to medium-sized super fund, which I think gives us manageable scale for being able to offer high-touch services and initiatives," REI Super chief executive, Mal Smith, said.
"We're sure that our video advice service will be particularly warmly embraced by our time-poor and geographically dispersed membership."
The video service was launched to support the fund's 74 per cent increase in pieces of advice issued to members and the 90 per cent increase in website traffic in the past year, and its growing number of members approaching retirement and seeking help with setting up retirement income streams.
REI Super provides advice for superannuation, retirement planning, and comprehensive financial advice through its administrator, Mercer.
