Willis Towers Watson makes key workplace risk appointment
Major consultancy firm, Willis Towers Watson, has gone for experience in appointing a new national manager, workplace risk.
The company announced this week it had appointed Darren Oliver to the role based on his expertise in providing strategic workplace advice to both public and private companies.
Commenting on the appointment, Willis Towers Watson head of client and industry, Chris Nelson, said Oliver had an exceptional reputation in the Australasian market.
"His knowledge and experience will bring considerable benefit to our clients and will allow us to maintain and grow the already strong market presence held by our workplace risk team," he said.
Oliver was previously with Thomas James International where he was the founder and managing director. Prior to that he was head of practice at Aon, providing strategic workers' compensation and work health and safety solutions.
