Willis Towers Watson has bolstered its Sydney portfolio management team, adding a senior portfolio specialist and two analysts.

Announcing the changes, Willis Towers Watson director of Investments for Australia, Martin Goss said the appointments were integral to delivering clients the best in portfolio management.

The appointments see former director at BlackRock, Oliver Berry appointed as senior portfolio specialist, with former NAB staffer Kathereen Carebros being appointed as senior analyst, and former BNP Paribas fund administrator, Ricky Wang being appointed as an analyst.

“Oliver is a highly experienced professional, particularly in delivering successful investment solutions for clients,” Goss said. “We are delighted to have someone of his calibre join the team, further enhancing our ability to deliver investments efficiently and cost effectively.”

“Portfolio management provides our clients an additional way to access our best ideas,” he said. “By outsourcing manager selection, due diligence, and operations, investors can focus their limited resources while tightening up their risk management. All three appointments will enhance the delivery of these solutions.”
