New directors for VFMC
Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC) has appointed two new directors.
VFMC chairman, James MacKenzie, announced this week that the Victorian Government-owned business had appointed former National Australia Bank executive, Paula Benson, along with former Goldman Sachs executive, Lisa Gay.
He said the appointments were aimed at deepening and strengthening VFMC's Board in financial services and funds management.
Benson is a leading corporate affairs executive and non executive director with experience in financial services, media, resources, and the education sector.
His most recent executive role was with National Australia Bank as executive general manager, corporate affairs.
Gay has extensive financial services experience in funds management, investment banking, and broking, and is currently chair of the Australian Securities and Investment Commission's Markets Disciplinary Panel, a non-executive director of Koda Capital and a member of the Council of Trustees of the National Gallery of Victoria.
