Accountancy-based financial services firm, Countplus has announced the appointment of a new chief financial officer (CFO).

The company announced to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) that it had appointed Laurent Toussaint to the role.

Toussaint was most recently employed as CFO of the publicly-listed Ambition Group and has previously worked within major consultancies such as Deloitte.

Toussaint succeeds John Collier, who will leave the company on Thursday with acting CFO, Geoff Missen, working to ensure a smooth transition between Collier’s departure and Toussaint’s incumbency in the role from January, next year.
