NAB appoints Group Executive, People
National Australia Bank (NAB) has recruited Air New Zealand's chief people officer, Lorraine Murphy, as the banking group's new group executive, people.
The appointment was confirmed by NAB chief executive, Andrew Thorburn, who said it represented a very important addition to the company's executive leadership team.
The NAB appointment is not the first banking position held by Murphy who has previously held roles at the Bank of Melbourne and the ANZ Banking Group.
NAB said Murphy's appointment was the result of an extensive global executive search.
