Metlife appoints head of people and culture

Global insurer MetLife has announced a key Australian appointment.

The company announced this week it had appointed Allyson Carlile as head of people and culture for its Australian business.

It said that Carlile would be based in Sydney and report to Metlife Australia chief executive, Deanne Stewart.

Carlile has joined Metlife Australia from NAB Asset Management where she previously held the position as head of people.

Prior to her role at NAB, Carlile also held a number of executive and senior positions at Westpac, Barclays Global Investors, and BT Financial Group.
