Capgemini ANZ names new COO

Capgemini Australia and New Zealand has appointed Olaf Pietschner as its new executive vice president and chief operating officer for Australia and New Zealand.

Pietschner, who has over 25 years of experience across consulting and digital transformation of global organisations, joined from Origin Energy where he served as chief information officer. Prior to this, he worked at IT director at News Corporation and was principal at Capgemini Central Europe.

“I am very excited to return to Capgemini to be part of what is undoubtedly the most collaborative, innovative and results oriented consulting and technology organisation in the market, and to support our Group ambition for Australia in driving competitiveness and growth,” he said.
