Adelaide-based advisers win national award
The six-person strong team at Adelaide-based financial advice provider, First Advice Solutions is eyeing expansion after winning the Centrepoint Alliance national award for best new advice practice.
First Advice Solutions received the Centrepoint Alliance award, which the non-institutional adviser network said had been established to recognise the best national practice, as well as to promote diversity within the advice community.
Commenting on the firm’s success, founder Tracey Edwards said First Advice Solutions’ focus on super and retirement income advice would be delivered on top of a strong framework that promoted financial confidence and literacy.
“We are very down-to-earth and are passionate about helping ordinary people secure their dreams,” she said.
“Many people are intimidated by financial issues and it can all seem a bit daunting, so we help break it down for them in way that is not patronising but helps them secure their future and have peace of mind.”
Centrepoint Alliance said the firm would look to expand following its recent move to new premises in Adelaide’s central business district.
First Advice Solutions was founded in April 2016 by Warwick and Tracey Edwards and is run by four female staff.
