AMP Financial Services has made two new appointments to its team servicing independent financial advisers.

Matt Lippiatt has been appointed sales and operations manager and Matt Styles has been appointed as a business development manager.

Lippiatt’s role is newly created, a statement from the group said, and his mandate is to develop the institution’s relationship with independent financial advisers. Lippiatt has been with AMP since 2006, during which time he has supported AMP financial planners in both superannuation and risk insurance matters in business development roles, the group said. Prior to joining AMP, Lippiatt worked for Guardian, Asteron and Commonwealth Bank.

Based in Victoria, Styles joins AMP Financial Services from a business development role at CommInsure.
