Macquarie Funds Managementhas appointedGregJohnsonto head its client services team. Johnson joins Macquarie Funds Management after four years as manager of marketing and client services atCredit Suisse Asset Management(CSAM), where he was responsible for relationship management and service delivery to key clients and consultants.

Prior to CSAM, Johnson worked withDeutsche Funds Management.He will report to Macquarie Funds Management division directorFiona Dunn.

State Street Global Advisorshas appointedJustin Pascoeto head its investment strategy division for Australia and New Zealand. Pascoe will report toBernard Reilly, managing director, State Street Global Advisors, Australia, and will be based in Melbourne.

Prior to this appointment, Pascoe spent four years as director of investments at State Street Global Advisors in Hong Kong. He has more than 12 years investment industry experience, with 10 of those years spent in Asia. Before originally joining State Street Global Advisors, Pascoe worked in senior roles with several major investment houses, as well as at the asset consulting practice ofTowers Perrin.

Mark Finselbachhas taken on the role of chief investment officer forAllianz Dresdner Asset Management(ADAM) in Australia. Finselbach has more than 20 years of investment management experience, and most recently worked with Deutsche Asset Management.

Finselbach will take charge of the Australian investment team following the integration of Allianz Asset Management and Dresdner RCM to create ADAM.

Finselbach is also appointed as the deputy chief investment officer for Asia Pacific reporting toRaymond Chan.

John Nilandhas been appointed to theMacquarie Bankboard as an independent non-executive director.

Niland also currently serves as chairman of a range of bodies including the UNSW Foundation, Research Australia, the Australian Peace Scholarships Trust and the Centennial Park Trust.

Late last year, Macquarie Bank executive chairmanDavid Clarkeannounced that Macquarie would appoint two new independent directors by July 2003, of which this is the first. The appointment brings the Macquarie Bank board membership to nine.

Three new business development managers have joined Aussie Mortgage Market.Michael Curran, who was recently with Australian Mortgage Securities, has joined the team in Queensland. Curran has 18 years experience in the industry.

In Melbourne,CraigLeonardhas joined. He brings with him 11 years of sales industry experience fromNational Mortgage Market.

Dave Simpkinshas also joined Aussie’s Sydney office, after several years as a mortgage adviser.

InTech Financial Servicesmanaging directorMeredith Hellicarhas announced plans to exit the company at the end of this month, after 16 months in the role.

According to InTech, discussions are currently underway with potential successors.
