Colonial First State Global Asset Management has expanded its investments team with the appointment of Annette Mullen as senior portfolio manager for fixed interest and credit funds.

With more than 20 years experience in fixed interest, Mullen has assumed a broad remit that includes credit portfolio management and sector allocation.

She will be working closely with senior portfolio manager Francois Kong and the co-head of global fixed interest and credit, Warren Bird, to manage inflation-linked portfolios and active sector allocation processes.

Prior to joining Colonial First State, Mullen worked for the NSW Treasury Corporation, managing a range of fixed interest and cash assets, where she was also a member of the risk management and investments committees.
